Cat Insurance - M&S or More Than
Comments
-
Just to say I was with M&S when it was a 'for life' policy. They changed it when they changed underwriters and the terms were nothing like as good. I was okay because my cat had never had a claim, so I changed to the original underwriters - AXA. But there were a lot of people who got stuck with expensive price rises for much less cover but couln't change policy because their animal had developed a condition by that time.
So I think it is worth going direct to an underwriter, such as AXA, as there is less chance of them moving the goal posts once they have got you locked in.
In my view pet insurance is one occasion when saving those extra few quid can be very un-mse indeed if it all goes wrong...I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Yes, Im one of those who got stuck with M and S for one of my dogs
BUT at least it is a good policy so I dont have to worry that the pot will run out for his on going condition. 0
