Homeserve Warranties + Littlewoods!

Hi looking for some help,

I purchased a bed (£150) via littlewoods in March 08. This broke in June 2008 and they advised it was a structural decfect and sent a new bed no problems at all. I also purchased an extended warranty on this for 5 years. To cut a long story short my bed fell apart (literally) on 31/05 i contacted littlewoods they told me as over 1 year to take it up with homeserve which i done. I have waited for a claim form to arrive and sent it back last thursday by guranteed 9am delivery with royal mail so they would have it on friday. I called them yesterday and they said they have not gotten it and to call again today (0870 number grr), which i have done and again they are claiming they have not got it and i need to wait for another claim form to be sent out. If this was a set of drawers i wouldnt be being so impatient just until it is resolved i am having to take it in turn with my partner to sleep on the floor and on the sofa. Tried to ask them to do it over the phone and they wont they are so unhelpful!

Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do other than buy a new bed? lol

Thank you in advance

Steph

Can't you put your mattress on the floor and both of you sleep on that?

What did royal mail say about the delivery? couldn't you check it's status? After I'd done that I'd explain on the phone to them that you've sent it, it's been signed for etc etc, if their internal processes haven't got it to the right department yet it's their too bad, they can fill in the form on your behalf over the phone whilst they wait for the other one to show up.

Sounds like you will have to keep on their case.. how long will they take to fix it etc???
    I love surprises!
