sometimes feels like i am wishing my life away BUT...

Options
i KNOW its going to be worth it!

at the moment i am working all the hours possible to get rid of this debt.it may not be much compared to others but for me this is a huge weight around my neck.

i find myself constantly wishing fo the next payday so i can pay the next bit off, so feels like i am wishing my life away!

however if i can keep doing the extra hours at work (the extra hours are not always available so i am trying to grab as many as i can right now) then i know that my catalouge debt will be long gone, and i am hoping that this time next year i will be free from my credit card debt!

we really want to move so for me thats a big incentive.i'm sure that then the next goal will be to get the mortgage paid off quicker.

one step at a time but it does feel nice to be dealing with this all and having some focus rather than feeling out of control.

:O)

  • frustrating isn t it - I seem to wish my whole life away sad isnt it really but i get paid then I am counting down the days until the next one, wishing my kids would both be a school full time then I could go back to work full time and earn more money. sometimes we need to just stop and enjoy the
moment but it is hard to do that.

Know what you both mean. I do the same ...23 days to pay day...When you think of all the things in life you want to do? Life just seems to be passing me by.
The DFW posts really help though - seeing how so many little steps are helping so many others. We'll all get there one pay packet at a time ;)

    Keep up the good work!
I too find myself getting a tinsy-winsy little bit obsessed by all this money saving. But in the most part I think this is a good thing! At least we've made a start - even if the end seems quite far away.

I also find it good to think about the here and now - if I ask myself if I feel OK, have everything I really need in that moment - then I usually discover that things are absolutely fine. I know I'm making the effort to sort things, can forget about the total figures for a while!

    Good luck!

I know what you mean but then I try to remember that we are the lucky one's - most people in this world have far less than we do, don't you think? This way I can appreciate everything I have and feel fortunate. :A

Definately wishing my life away. Want the next 16 weeks to fly by. That means I will have ££££ in the bank, can finish work, and finally stop having to obsess over money - and enjoy it for a change!!

However, when I'm actually in Oz, I want the time to go very s-l-o-w-l-y ;0)

    xx
