I need a joint account...?

Hi,

My husband and I have individual current accounts which we are going to keep. We also have a very basic joint account with no overdraft facility for bills to paid from. Problem is, we need an overdraft facility for the joint account and the bank won't/can't upgrade the joint account we already have. Can anyone help by suggesting an account that would be useful to us?

I would guess that if you both had good credit ratings and a regular income most banks would be happy to offer you joint a/c facilities with an o/d.

If you have been refused such a facility with your current banker is there a reason why? No one can offer suggestions if you don't supply all the reqd info.

If there are no problems perhaps check your credit rating through Experian or one of the others, as perhaps there is something that is being red flagged that you don't know about.
