Hi all, does anyone know if there is a free sat nav for BB curve? I ve got nav4all but it does not seem to be working. It keeps saying GPRS not found even though on the front screen it says GPRS (by the signal indicator)
Any ideas anyone??
Many thanks:beer:

Google Maps. Depends if your provider allows full GPRS.
Or the built in Blackberry Maps. Having the GPRS image in the corner doesn't mean you have the full data/GPRS connectivity.0 -
i already have google maps but its not navigation is it? it is just a map thing? or am i not using it rite? hmmm. then i guess i havent got gprs. i used the vodafone sat nav but it cost £5/month so thought i can find a cheaper one instead?0

I am using Amaze on my Nokia 5800 and it is not bad. Does its job.I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0

www.amazegps.com and www.nav4all.com are free. Both support Blackberry.0

Google Maps definitely has the navigation. Can put in Via's etc. Can specify if by car or by foot etc.
It doesn't read out instructions so can't be used by the driver if in the car.0 -
I'm sorry to have to add this 18 months late, but GPRS is a form of mobile data communication. What Sat Nav software is looking for is GPS = a device that can sense the signals of a Global Positioning Satellite array.
The more expensive Blackberry Curves have a GPS device inbuilt and the cheaper ones will need you to buy an external GPS device that can communicate via bluetooth...I thought I was a Money Saving Expert - then someone pointed me at Martin Lewis! Now THERE's an expert!!!0
