Cheapest way to park for Windsor Castle

I'll be visiting Windsor Castle soon for around 7 hours.

Does anyone know the cheapest place to park within walking distance of the castle.

Do most roads in the area have parking restrictions?

You can't park for miles on the roads round the Castle. There are large car parks down near the river but I don't know the prices these days.

we always park at Romney Lock. It usually has spaces and is only about a 10 minute walk to the castle. It looks like it's £4.50 for over 5 hours which seems a lot - but it's much cheaper than other places

Last time we went we got a 2 burgers for the price of 1 from Gourmet Burger Kitchen too!!!

Wow, so many people getting clamped, I think I may give Windsor Castle a miss!
