alton towers hotel/summer holidays

i was wondering if anyone has been to the alton towers hotel?

I want to go and take my mum, i have been to alton towers loads of times (usually go once a year but havent been in two years) i dont like the thought of my mum driving all that way and back in a day. I would like to go in the park one day and the water park the other, but is the price worth it??

also when do the childrens school holidays start as i dont want to book then??

thanks _party_

the AT hotel is very expensive, If you can do avoid the school hloidays like the plague!!!!! I think the easter one has just started.

I am going at the start of may with me GF and her brother. We are staying in a little B&B about 5 mins drive from ATs gate.

  • Does anyone know if there are ever any offers on the Alton Towers hotel during the normal opening times (ie not winter/easter etc)?

Hi i've just booked 2 nights for the price of one using a woolworths voucher you get if you spend over £10.You could make a reservation, without the voucher, but you must present it when checking in.

If you know anyone who workd at BT they sometimes get deals for works and friend worth asking them to keep an eye open for the deals.
Another alternative is to book a hotel close by then find some vouchers for cheap entry to the parks
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
