buy a car (grrrrrrrrrrr)
well I don't actually want to but the automatic transmission has now failed and with a £2K bill to put it right and 126,000 on the clock think perhaps its time.
So my query is - is straightforward cash always the best deal and ignore everything else the sales person throws at me looking to spend £12K or so including part ex.
All help gratefully received.
Thanks
Macca

sales men dont seem to do cash these days but they like monthly finance agreements,
get the best deal on finance you can sign the agreement the day you collect the car and as soon as you get home execute your statatory right to cancel with in the 14 day cooling off periode :-) pay back the amount to the finance company job done.
dont bother negotiating APR rate your not going to use it :-)If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
Mortgage - £2,000

http://www.honestjohn.co.uk clik The Backroom - Discussion - for all thing motoring.
Also his page This Weeks Best Deals - up to the minute GENUINE offers
Also Car By Car Breakdown page - all thats good & bad ALL cars.
& to answer your Q - best to imply & certainly listen to any finance pfeers made to you, many are EXTRA to the deal you can get in the showroom & sometimes verrrry good, as they'll be provided by the car maker as an additional incentive & not out of the dealers pocket !!
Now tell us which car you fancy!!??
