I was just looking for cheap airport parking for Heathrow and this came up.
I just wondered if anyone had any experience of using peoples driveways?
£45 for 2 weeks seems to be the price charged. Most seem to drop you off and collect you when you get back.
Thanks

Pretty sure this has been covered before, with such situations you have to satisfy yourself that the person has full public liabilty insurance for their property, if not and something happens to your car on their property then it may casue some serious issues.
You mention they drop you off and pick you up too, do they use your car? and if so are they covered by their insurance to undertake such services, if not the best they will have is 3rd party insurance, or they will invalidate their own insurance by driving a car which is in relationship to running a business
For another £30 you park at purpleparking, who I have used a few times and are very goodLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
I use the same guy each time I fly from LHR. His name is Sunny and I trust him with my car. i found him through parkatmyhouse. He charges me £30 for 8 days, he meets us at the airport on departure and brings the car to the airport on return. He even washes my car because I have used him so many times. I was a bit wary the first time after hearing some horror stories, so I noted my mileage when he picked up the car and it was about right for where he lives. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
