I was just over £200 the other way. So frustrating.:(

I hope you have a great time seeing your son.

    Thanks for your well wishes!

It's pretty chaotic with DS back, things get messy quicker and its a lot noisier and more work! LOL

As I predicted, expenses have risen with DS back, I have bought him a scooter and a computer game and socks and underwear and tracksuits...that's about $250 right there! Also I've had to buy a new TV for my parents as their TV broke down which was $408...

So for June, overpayments to the mortgage were $1453.77. When you add the minimum payments that's a total of $2142.77

Mortgage balance is now $95 957.18...

I will now go and use the google form to update the 2010 mortgage challenge...
    The Mortgage Free in Three - Take 2 Challenge (MFiT-T2): #58 - Goal: Get to AU$50 000 by 12/12/12
    Current balance: $84 693
    2011 MF Wannabes: #102 - Goal: Overpay mortgage by AU$15 000
    Total paid for 2011: $2253.16

Wow, its been a month since I updated!

The mortgage balance is now 94 288.22. I worked out that to reach my goal for the 3 year mortgage challenge I have to reach 91708 by the 12 September. I project the balance will be 91546 by that date so I will make the target just...not sure if I will make it as any unexpected expense comes up and I won't be able to do it...

    Cheers

Well at least you're still on track! Is son still eating everything in sight?

Hi Gallygirl, he is not eating a whole lot, its more the pokemon cards and toys that are costing $$$ Plus there are school excursions and clothes as well... but that's ok, he is a special boy and we will make up for it when he is overseas again...

I went grocery shopping today without him as he added about $30 to the bill last week by asking for toys so he won't be happy when he comes home from school and finds I've gone without him!

    Cheers

It's the Australian Federal Election this Saturday so I have to trudge up to the local school to vote. Fun Fun Fun....it's going to be a really close election...no one knows who will win...

Mortgage is going ok - I have had to replace ps2 controllers that have broken and also a Nintendo DS that decided to give up the ghost...so expenses have been high this month...I don't think I am going to make the Mortgage Free in 3 Years Challenge target this time...

Anyway, I have still been paying extra, just not as much this last month...

    Cheers

Still going well though Canne - well done and keep going. I have now joined the MFW gang but as you can see from my Sig - I have a fair way to go! Thanks for the tip on Pure Profile which has turned out to be a nice little earner.
