Okay, I'm looking into using it, but I cant help but notice they say "Enhanced AntiSpyware" is only available to Avira AntiVir Premium. What does this mean and how is it going to effect my protection?

You can use Malwarebytes in conjunction with Avira to combat the spyware. It's free too.0
-
The free version is just a basic virus scanner, the premier paid for versions offer more services such as spyware scanning.
But you can protect / scan with other free tools such as Spyware Blaster, SpyBot S+D, AdAware, Malwarebytes etc. (links easy to find, short of time, meeting beckons!).
For the best free anti-virus scanner, Avira is hard to beat.0 -
So really I need to be using another program in conjunction with the free Avira.0

Depends on your browsing habits.
If you only ever visit safe sites, good anti-virus and a good firewall will be fine. Then perhaps run a weekly or monthly spyware scan using one of the scanners earlier.
No one package can give you full protection, regardless of the sales pitch.
If you use Firefox with the NoScript add-on you'll be a lot safer browsing too.0 -

Thats not quite true. The free version does now have some form of spyware scanning involved (Exactly what I couldnt say). But the premium version has ALL definition files.:idea:0
