Oh I really wish I could come and join you on one of the meets. It would be lovely and I think if we met in person I might feel more able to join in the daily chat. At the moment I feel an outsider!!

Maybe I could do the London one when that happens.

i was like that before Glasgow meet last year... i was scared i would get there and everyone would know everyone else and be like, "Maz who?"

but everyone was lovely and it was great, and i think when i came back from there i was more inclined to feel able to join in.......

there are lots of people who are very much in the swing of MSE who have been only posting a little while.... it's just a case of pitching in.....

sometimes it can seem to be fast moving, and it can seem like you're being ignored, but it's never malice, its just fast moving.....

Tenmah, I've not made it to a meet yet and with how finances are, doubt I'll make to any of the ones planned for this year :(
I keep posting most days and feel as though I know the others.

I've never made it to a meet before as I usually chichen out, but as folks are coming here to Weymouth, I can't get lost and as Maz says maybe I will feel more part of things when I meet peeps. Perthaps it's easier if you can try it out in your own town 1st.
    Lets hope so:cool:

    Hi
I was really nervous about Manchester but had been made so welcome here that I went. So glad I did and wish I could do Leeds this weekend.

What i am saying is - if you can go,go. However I do feel that I know the people I haven't met on here as well as those I have!

I been with DD1 and GS - babysat whilst she went to the dentist. Then I drove to a campsite in the middle of remotest Rutland to train some Commissioners. Got back about 20 minutes ago. Shattered!

    Long thread!
