Ah Toto she will be fine and often when they are overtired they only cry to try and block out the noise. You don't want to have to cuddle her to sleep at 3 years old so you have to start at some point...even though its hard!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I am a cruel and evil mum, I have just let my baby cry herself to sleep
she was knackered and was fighting going to sleep, getting into a right paddy in my arms, so I put her in her cot. 15 minutes later she's fast asleep. I feel horrible though, I always cuddle her to sleep. Has to be done though eh.

Aww HWGA I'm sorry you feel lonely, that's a horrible feeling. I get like that too when hubby is away and everyone I know has a life.
Do you get much time off from Mr & Mrs? Any time to find people to socialise with locally, take a painting class or join a book club, something you would find interesting. I have full respect for you, it must be a difficult job and you seriously must have the patience of a saint.
My dear old Nan had alzheimers and just spending an hour with her drove me loopy
I loved her to bits but after an hour of her going into her bag to get a pen, looking up, asking what she was looking for, going back into her bag, looking up, asking..... I took the bleeding thing off her and took out the pen, only for her to ask, why do I want this?
I get 2hrs off in the day so can't do anything, my comp is my lifeline, but am hoping to take more time off during the year (no pay if I'm off) and join in on some of the meets hopefully. I need to give me some "Me time" which I rarely do

Alzheimers is awful and so sad. I had to re enact a memory from my son's great grandad navy days in WW2 was quite funny in a sentimental kind of wayThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes, you're cruel and evil - you let your baby get a good night's sleep. Soon you'll be changing her and denying her the warmth and wet comfort of a full nappy..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
