I'm amazed that a Marketing Director of a house builder would say 'best to buy a house now otherwise you will miss the chance of a lifetime of buying at the bottom of the market', who would have thunk it.

Even if it was the bottom of the market (highly unlikely), the chances of having 'one' housing crash in anyones lifetime is nil, also there is the small matter of climate change, Spain is likely to look like the Sahara desert in 50 years time, and your precious house is likely to be surrounded by Bedouin tents and camels.

The more desperate these people get, the more lame their extremely thin arguments become, when are they going to understand 2000-2007 in the housing market has gone, ironically that was probably a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to make loads of cash by doing nothing.
