MBNA max fee BT increase

in Credit cards
Is that happening on the 1st April? I remember that they were putting up the max BT fee to £75 (previously £50).
I couldn't remember so I did a BT to my MBNA card yesterday. I needed to anyway as in May my Marbles card would go back to the standard rate of 16.9% (its currently at 5.9%)
It cost me a fee of £50 to BT £3950.
The lady on the phone said that the 1.9% would stay on my account until June but she could extend it to Sept and what she would also do for me was to reduce my standard balance rate from 24.9% to 18.9% (still  ).
She made out like she was doing me a really big favour. :rotfl:
Like I was ever going to pay those rates again.
Seen a few threads about extortionate interest rates on various credit cards and I would be fine owning one of them now as I would just pay the balance in full and never pay them a penny in interest.
I now don't have any purchases on any of my cards and am paying them off much faster than this time last year when the balances were barely going down. If only I could get as 0% card... :j
