Hi Folks.
I've got a quote in from a builder that i have used before. I was happy with his previous work but this quote seems excessive. I'm happy to be corrected if i'm wrong
I'm after the rear garage door (pic below) to be removed, bricked up & steps removed. I've been quoted £400.00 including materials .... Can anyone confirm if this sounds about right please ??
Any feedbcak appreciated

Well, it won't be the quickest job in the world, as he'll have to tie in the new bricks with the old and match the bricks as best possible, although I'd still say it's a bit on the high side for the work.Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0

No I think it is fair if the bricks are tied both sides, (unlike the window that has been done, right of picture)
when the steps come out who knows what’s there. Match bricks get materials dispose of rubble it all takes time0 -
Is that including making good the inside, plastering, plasterboard, skirting etc?0
