Is Anyone With MORE THAN Insurance Company?

Options
Hi,
Was hoping someone could give me some feedback on MORE TH<N Insurance company.

I've been looking arond for home insurance and the best quote so far is with them. Im only lloking for basic contents insurance and it's app £13.40 a month. It also states on the quidco website that you get cashback.

Before i go ahead, just wanted to check that this company is ok. Also i have noticed that you can choose a fee to pay, either £50, £100 and so on. Is this what you have to pay in the event of having to claim. I dont really understand it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

I have my car insurance with them (2 years now) and they are fine.

In saying that it takes a claim to see how good any of these firms really are.

More than is the current marketing name for in-house Royal & Sun Alliance sold plans. Old established company that focuses on general insurance.

We have our dog insured, and we had to make a claim about 2 years ago. Sent the form off and got the cheque back in no time at all.

    Hope this helps

thanx for the replies. Looks like they are good so I have decided to go with them. Does anyone understand the excess fee? It shows an option which you have to select and it starts from £50. I take it this is what you have to pay should you need to claim. Does it make a difference if i select £50 rather than £100?
    Thanks once again.

An excess is what you have to pay in the event of a claim. There are 2 lots of excesses on a policy, compulsory and voluntary. You choose the voluntary excess and usually the higher the excess you choose, the cheaper the premium. Sometimes the difference is only a few ££ but can sometimes be quite a few £££ so play around with the excess figures and choose one you are happy with.

Don't forget....2 lots of excesses so you need to find out what the compulsory is aswell as your voluntary.

    No problem at all.

Meant to say we are also currently with MoreThan and have had no problems but as tuftyMatt said, you don't really know how good a co is until you need to claim.
