Usually getting excited now about going out...instead...

Options
Hello everyone

Sorry just going to have a moan, feeling really low today and fed up with not being able to go out when I want and where I want...

Once again another wk'end at home, not going out, everyone asking what I am up to this wk'end and my response being "staying in"...

Also everyone seems to do things with there OH at wk'ends and I don't have one cos I was to sort my debt out first, like being single, but miss going out for dinners etc.

Raaagghhhh it is so hard, think I have been doing well for 4 mths now and getting a bit fed up with it, maybe it's just this wke'end and will feel better next week...

Sorry I am normally really positive, just having a moan

Hope everyone has a good wk'end whatever you may be doing

xxx

    I'm staying in too........

we'll have to think of more interesting things to say to people when they ask, 'doing anything nice this weekend?'

    'i'm making chocolate teapots'

    or

'i'm installing air-conditioning on my motorbike'

i always wish i had something good to say when this question comes up on a friday, has anyone else got any ideas?

At least you dont have the thought of having to work a Saturday job hanging over you on a Friday - that's no fun!! (unless you do of course, and then I sympathise!!).

I hate it. Everyone else is looking forward to it being friday and I'm like. "Yeah. Great. Roll on Sat at 4pm".!!

Try and think of some cheapish/free fun things to do - your weekend doesnt have to be dull!!

Understand what you mean about the single thing. Although I went on a date Monday and he wants to see me sat night - I have been single for so long that I cant be bothered - he obviously isnt "the one" - plus I'm going travelling whatever the weather (so to speak!!).

Big hugs to you. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend whatever you get up to.

At least you wont wake up tomorrow with a stinking hangover & £50 poorer like lots of people!! xx

you could always add an ashtray to your motorbike whilst you're at it , and sewing pockets in your socks would keep you busy!!

Not doing much either this weekend, only cleaning out the garage.. wa hoo, I can hardly wait...

it'll be truly worth it in the end though, think of no debt hanging over your head, that's got to be better in the long run xx

Being a bit of a sad case I look forward to weekends where I don't have to go anywhere. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow that noone wants to go anywhere so I can have a quiet day, wash my car, maybe do a little gardening and go for a swim.

Don't forget you've got a whole morning of amusement tomorrow - hung over people make prime targets for April Fool's pranks!

If it's any consolation I had to say no to going out tonight even though everyone else from my work will be there! I have the happy task of going through my house to find things to sell on eBay so that I CAN go out with them on the next one!

I was feeling a bit low about it but at least I can definitely say I won't be the talk of the office on Monday ;)

Thanks everyone, just needed a moan...

I guess it is cos I am/was a bit of a party animal, I just love dancing and listening to music in clubs, don't necessarily have to get drunk, but just love being out, but hate the hangovers and feeling tired the next morning, and you are all right, will save me 60 quid which is great.

So I am entertaining myself tonight but chatting on MSE, going through my magazines and cutting out things I like (sad I know)!!!

I do have stuff to look foward to at the wk'end also, will go for swim tomorrow morning and am working in the evening 6-9, so will be good to catch up with work mates!

I also need to do lots of bits and bobs, so will have a getting organised wk'end.

    Thanks all, your fab!

    xx

Going out has to be the easiest way ever of spending money. I don't go out in town centres any more and I don't miss it. TBH what you get for your money is so rubbish. It's all about grabbing as much money from the punters as possible.

No need to feel sad about it though. You need to find cheap things and then enjoy the smugness of not spending money. I buy really nice beer cheap and drink that, listen to CDs and have a laugh with friends.
    Happy chappy
