best way to hide a 3 foot high brick wall paint it or cover it with something

hi there does anyone have any good cheap ideas to hide a brick wall its all moldy and mossy and it looks bad needs pointed, there is about 40 feet length 3 foot high thought about painting it but might work out a bit expensive and take ages any ideas would be great thanks for reading

Pressure washing and pointing would probably make it look new and would probably be the best thing to do as if it needs pointing then it may deteriorate further and potentially become unstable fall down? (hard to say without a pic). You can even buy ready mixed mortar I think.
To paint you'd need to pressure wash/clean anyway.
Only other options I see are planting, but 40 feet of plant + maintenance would be expensive in £ and time. Or get some type of bamboo screening which again for 40 feet may be £ and although would hide the wall it would not fix the pointing which may lead to further probelms.

I'd pressure wash it too. Painting it won't stop it from needing repointing. It's characterfulEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

plant some ivy all along it. will take few yrs to grow but itll look great then.
