I have sent a cheque for £1,000 from my Barclays account to Royal Bank of Scotland instead of Bank of Scotland. They have cashed it into a holding account at RBS, I have been trying to get this sorted.......any suggestions anyone ?

You have an account at BoS? How come you didn't spot you we're writing even the wrong address on the envelope? You must have looked up an RBS address then?0
