Hi i really need advice i'm getting married in september to my girlfriend in september who i lve very much, she still lives with her elderly dad and brother who have always been fine-she has a few medical problems agrophobia and arthritus, the plan was always for me to move in with them but this weekend i've realised i don't know if i can-they're a very old fashioned family everything is done to routine, i've got my own housing association flat so i cook, go to fridge, bath when i llike when i'm there its not like that-i've tried getting a swap on various sites with out any luck, i'm in chelmsford looking to go to stevenage help!

You have a HA flat - wouldn't it be best all round if she moved in with you?0

PennyShahin, you really need to step back and review the situation. You are saying you can't live with your girlfriends family, and I can understand why if from what you say are the difficulties with them! But on the other hand your girlfriend suffers from agrophobia, so could mean that she is unable to leave her home and cope with outside situations if very bad. You give no indication of the severity!
I am not meaning to come across as blunt or nasty, as you state you love your girlfriend very much and this comes across in your post. But your panic in what you are getting yourself into is also very evident. You know how your girlfriend would cope with moving away from her family and home. Is it this troubling you or the size of your flat and the HA?
