The "nerve" of Npower

I received two letters from npower today to let me know that my gas and electricity prices would be increasing from 31st March (today). Included with the letter was a flyer ofering me £30 of M&S vouchers if I signed up to a contract with npower by 30 April 2006. Nowhere does it say that you have to be a new customer so I rang them to enquire, and their reply put me in mind of the Mark Benton advert for Nationwide. ie. for new customers only!. And the guy I spoke to not only actually said that but when I said I was going to switch, he said, and I quote" Have a nice day, mate! What a way to speak to customers. I'm definitely going to switch now just out of spite!
