rover 220 problem

hi my rover 220 has been having problems, the clutch and gearbox are failing and im wondering what sort of price i would be looking at to repair it and roughly how long the car will last with such problems.

    I would get yourself over to mg-rover.org (post in the diesel section as its a different gearbox to the petrol ones) I'm a member over there and we are a lovely bunch, not to mention there are some guys who really know their stuff.
