Mountain Bike Repair

I'm looking to sell my bike, what with my knee problems and the fact I can hardly walk, the bike is useless to me and is just cluttering up my parents garage.

It has only been used a handfullof times, but over the past 3 years it has been stored in the garage there is now a little surface rust on the nuts/bolts etc and the chain is in a right state. I have tried to un-cease the part of the chain that are ceased up using 2 pairs of dogs and moving the 2 links, but it is still not budging.

I really don't want to buy an new chain, and even if I did I don't have the chain tool to remove the old chain and fit a new one.

Can anyone offer any advice on how I can sort the chain?

Try a good squirt of penetrating oil first. Give it some time to do its work. If this frees the seized parts then apply ordinary 3 n 1 type oil.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Take the chain off and soak it in diesel.
