British Gas Relaunch Essentials Tariff
BG have now relaunched the above tariff and it's prices are 15% cheaper than their standard one. It seems ok however, I presume you get no discounts for paying by DD etc so does it really work out any cheaper in the long run? Looking at Npower their sign online 15 prices aren't massively different from the essentials one but you get £100 back at the end of 12 months.
Does anyone have any experience of the essentials tariff and whether any further discounts are offered for monthly dd payments?
