If you opened an online barclays account to get the £100 bonus in repsonse to Martin's email/article
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1137572726,94211, beware that they are not paying if you paid in £1000 straight away. They have some condition that you needed to wait for 2weeks otherwise the bonus is forfeited!!

I got my £100 no problem.
£1,000 paid in within 5 days of getting the account.
£1,000 paid in 31 days later.
£100 received just under 4 weeks later.
But I'm closing the account anyway as they only gave me a mickey mouse Connect Card and not a Visa Delta card.0 -
There is no such condition in the terms and conditions.
They are just trying to fob you off.
Fight your ground, show them the Ts&Cs and ask them where that particular condition is.
Go through their complaints procedure.0 -
