Utilities Advice Sort
I'm being made redundant on the 30 June and I have now taken the time to review my spending.
I would be gratefull if someone can recommend cheaper Gas & Electric suppliers. My current suppliers are EDF and I am finding them very expensive. I pay £160 by DD each month. I have a 4 bed detached house with 3 people living in it.
I have looked at the comparison sites and based on my profile, E.O.N is coming out top of the list. Not sure if they are a good supplier or not as the comparison sites don't highlight the small print.
Thanks in advance.

best advice, find out how much your usage has been over the past couple of years, assuming no major changes in the household, this'll give you your best results when doing online comparisons. if there have been major changes just use the last years' usage.
& use more than one comparison site, if they all give the same results, then I'd go with that option offered.0 -
With that high a useage make sure you also check under the single fuel tabs (there'll be gas-only and electricity-only tabs on the results page.) The differences in tier 2 prices could well mean having single fuels from separate suppliers will result in a greater saving than any dual-fuel discount.0

Make use of the comparison websites as stated above, but you should easily be able to reduce your consumption without too much pain. Lots of advice on here!0
