PPI: 2 quick questions...

Options
Hi

1) Can you claim PPI off a loan you have a judgment against you on?
2) Can you still claim PPI if the company you took the loan out with has gone into administration?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know yes you can claim off a loan with a judgement against you on it,
It depends which company and when the PPI was sold to you

    Hi

    Hi there

    1) Can you claim PPI off a loan you have a judgment against you on?

As far as I am aware, this makes no difference.

    2) Can you still claim PPI if the company you took the loan out with has gone into administration?

When a company have gone under, you may have to put in a claim with the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS), to do this you contact them and ask if the company in question are registered with them, if this is the case they will then arrange to send you a form to complete.

Is it possible for you to confirm the company, so I can check out what administrators they are under, you do not have to post this if you don't want to.

Details of the FSCS here, good luck.

    Thanks in advance[/QUOTE

You can check this out also on the FSCS firm search, but they are not always listed if they are not confirmed in default yet, so do give them a call.;)

Thanks so much everyone. For an awful minute I thought the answer might be no to both.

Di3004: Shows how much I know...I've never heard of such an organisation. Thanks for the education :-)

Oh and its no secret...its London Scottish Finance...aka London Scottish Bank.

    More to say later.

Myself and other have some cases with the FSCS, due to the finance companies going under for some reason, some are Picture, the company that I complained of is called Twopart Ltd, also known as Eloan.co.uk.

Please keep us posted, and good luck.;)
