Barclaycard problems

Hi,
I have had two transactions on my barclaycard declined today, the website is down and when i call customer services i just get put through to an operator telling me that the systems are down for an upgrade and to ring back in 3 hours time as there is nothing they can do and can't access any account information
Anybody else experienced this today?
And if this is due to an upgrade - didn't they think of informing customers?

yes i have had problems accessing my account online too. I did this morning and it was fine, but forgot to write down my balance. I have tried many times since and havent been able to log in. I'm glad its not just me though. Its awful when you cant use your card.
Mind you I got my card decline last weekend, would have taken me over my credit limit. very embarrassing.:oAugust 2009 grocery challenge £172.64/,,,,,

Thats all I currently get, so frustrating as I had my new statement produced online yesterday (saw when I could log in this morning) so wanted to get cracking with working out the payments now that I've got a spare 5 mins at work!0 -
It appears that the whole of the Barclays network is down including debit card services, ATM's, online banking, telephone banking and barclaycard.0

Nothing they could have warned you about!Vanquis- Limit £1250, balance £0
Capital One Classic- Limit £800, balance £0
Natwest Current Account- £800 OD limit, approx £600 OD
Loan- £3300, will be paid off by Dec 09
Student Loan- paid off Dec 09 (That's £150 a month extra! Woohoo)
Empire Catalogue Account- £750 limit, balance £300
