Binding seeds together for a snack without sugar?

Options
I think having healthy snacks around is a very good idea. The number of times I reach for anything I can when something isn't at hand!

But how can I bind seeds together in a nice way without using sugar?

I saw some almonds with Wasabi the other day too. But how did they make the flavoured powder?

Any websites with reciepes you can recommend?

Dunno if this will help, but I've bought all natural seed bars before. They didn't have any fat or sugar added, but were stuck together with dried fruit - mostly dates if I remember right - any use to you?

Here's a recipe for spiced nuts:

There's no added sugar and only a little olive oil and you could easily vary the spices to your taste.

I found this recipe here http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/wasabinuts.htm

    Wasabi Nuts
    I N G R E D I E N T S
    1 egg white
    1 tablespoon water
1 pound (3 cups) whole natural almonds, peanuts, or nut of choice
    2 tablespoons wasabi powder
    2 teaspoons coarse salt
    2 teaspoons cornstarch

    I N S T R U C T I O N S
Preheat oven to 275°F. Line a sided baking sheet with greased foil or parchment paper. Whisk egg white and water together until foamy. Add almonds and toss to coat. Transfer to a sieve; toss gently and let drain.

Stir together wasabi powder, salt and cornstarch in a large bowl. Add almonds and toss to coat. Spread almonds on baking sheet in a single layer, and bake 30 minutes. Gently stir, reduce temperature to 200°F and continue baking 20 more minutes. Let cool completely before serving. Serve, or store airtight for up to a week.
