There is the facility in Ebay to limit your search to a certain distance from your home (advanced search options I think).

You can then sort by distance to see those closest.

Most people will allow collection so you don't need to limit to those auctions that only allow collection.

I tried that, but I have about a dozen platinum level powersellers near me. A 10 mile search from my postcode brought up over 22,000 listings....

localbargainfinder.co.uk is owned by stevew8975 and he has been making alot of money off you by spamming this site on here using different accounts for several years.

There is no reason to use this website as all it is a direct affiliate link to eBay pre programmed with the search terms "collection only" "buyer Must "Collect" And "Cash on collection".

You don't need to use this website just go to ebay directly, type those three search terms in the search box and then select "sort by nearest distance" when your search results appear.

I don't care who owns it. If they make money off me- so what? It works, and saves me remembering what terms to put in the search box, so I'll carry on using it, thanks. localbargainfinder is a service, and if someone's making money by providing that service, I'm not bothered. I'm not paying to use it, so it's no difference to me.

Wish I'd thought of it first.

I'm not saying you shouldn't use it, just that you don't need to. I've tried it and it often defaults to the example post code so it's much easier and quicker to just type the search terms in ebay your self.

If you are looking for Collection only items i don't think there is much to remember about the search terms this tool uses, you just need to type "collection only" in the search bar

Also posting links to your own websites for personal gain in other peoples forums where it is forbiden is not good business sense, it is spamming and given the choice i would rather search ebay myself than allow a spammer to profit simply for inputing the search terms for me.

AS this thread has strayed into issues that the team are aware of and are dealing with and as the OP has already received a satisfactory response I think I will close it

    Thank you
