Hi,
I'm very new to home security alarms. Basically it was part of our home purchase. I am aware of basics of setting and resetting alarm and it was fine upto now.
But since yesterday for some reason the alarm makes beep sound when one of the sensor in our leaving room detects moving object. The alarm is not set but still this happens. While other sensors in kitchen seems to be fine.
Does anyone know if I can do some DIY to solve this problem.

Unfortunately I have no manual.0 -
Is it a wireless system? If so possibly indicating low battery on that sensor? You haven't mentioned the make or model, so why not just go to the manufacturer's website and download the manual? No free lunch, and no free laptop0

The make is Optima Compact 6 Zones ADE.
The motion sensor seems to be connected with wire. It flashes red light when it detects motion which makes alarm to beep. I am not sure if this is a battery problem.0 -
Not sure if this is your model but similar?

I found the solution from the manual thanks. Basically the zone was set to CHIME, which monitors the area at low intensity when the alarm is unset. So all I had to do is press CHIME then the zone number which clears CHIME.0
