Dictaphone digital voice recorder

I am looking to buy what is known in old fashioned terms as a dictaphone or a digital voice recorder. I would like one that enables me to transfer to a PC.
Most seem to be made by Sony or Olmpus, but I have also come across Ultradisck brand, which have a high spec, but are cheaper, sold by www.uket.co.uk
Does anyone have any experience of using the ultradisk brand and/or buying from Uket?
Any recommendations for a voice recorder? I need it to record meetings for minute taking.
Thanks!

I know the Olympus ones are well regarded (and no doubt the Sony's) but haven't seen one reviewed for a while. I'm sure a Google search will bring up some reviews.0

I have had a "Google" but can't find any reviews for the Ultradisk brand....
Maybe if it seems to good to be true, IT IS too good to be true, in terms of the price and specification.
I may stick to Olympus or Sony.0 -

Thank you mchale, but they are too expensive for me, do look a good spec though.0

Hi Minerva
How about this one? I got one the other day and it seems to do the business.

Reminds me of that old joke:
Q: Do you use your dictaphone?
A: No I dial with my fingers like everyone else.0 -
My mobile phone has voice recording feature, saves carrying another device around.
However I have recently started using a Sansa Clip mp3 player with record feature. It cost £28 and when clipped in my inside pocket it can record people up to 10-12 feet away. As a bonus it also has an FM radio and only measures 2" by 1"0 -
i have an ultradisk voice recorder dvr7 it records in mp3 format and came with telephone adapters so i can record phone calls and transfer them very easy, loads of bits in the kit (it came in very useful being in my pocket at work all the time now!!). Ive had no problems with quality, and it was much cheaper than olympus, it was recommended to me from others who are on the consumer rights forum. it also plays mp3s, but i havent done that.
bikered - that made me laugh !0
