Ending an auction on a bank holiday?

I've got some stuff I was going to put on a 10 day auction starting next Thursday. I've just looked at my calendar and realised that my items will all end on Easter Sunday. My question is do you all think this is a good thing or a bad thing?
On one hand I'm thinking lots of people sitting around at home browsing ebay. On the other will every one be on hols/in the pub/out doing bank holiday things?
Has anyone got any experience of ending auctions on a bank holiday?
Opinions greatfully received.

I have no experience but I am thinking of doing a similar thing as I jumped to the same conclusion that more people will be online to view and bid. It seems to make sense I can't see any harm in giving it a try.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650

We used to list things to end on a Sunday evening to catch people back after the weekend out, but saying that it doesn't seem to make much difference that we've noticed.
It only takes two people to push a price up and those two people could be housewives/shift workers/ill or just off work on a Monday morning at 10am.
I just wouldn't end them at 3am!Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Well, you will proberly lose a lot of customers who are away on a bank hol weekend away at the cost if the weather is fine. just look at the motorways every bank hol. Im away this bank holiday so thats one ebayer not searching for items. I cant imagine there are any plus sides to this threadAll the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0

My overall expericence is that Sunday is one of the best days (if not the best) to sell items on eBay. Not sure Easter Sunday will make much of a difference as people will already have seen your item prior to Sunday and will either already have bidded on it or are watching it if they are available.
Sunday evening for me.Regards,
Dave
