Renault make me mad

Wifes Renault Megane diesel (52plate which we've had from new) wouldn't start. AA towed us to local Renault Dealer. "Oh our tests show it's a New Fuel Injection Computer and that will be £560 thankyou very much....Just to get it started.
These manufacturers have a licence to Rob you blind, you can only get said part from a main agent as the car has to be reprogrammed!!
What a pure joy these computers have made modern motoring. These manufacturers just pluck a figure from the air as to what they can get away with.
I bet it has no more computing power than the average pocket calculator
Bring back the old days where you're not held to ransom
