Do I need a card reader to transfer money from my natwest e-savings to another bank

Because when it talks about transferring money to another institution it mentions a card reader.

Yes i had this problem earlier in the year as opened the monthly saver account to get the £50 bonus. found i could not withdraw any money even back to the account it came from without a card reader.
if you phone natwest they will put one in the post for you. the telephone number is on the websitePractising Scrooge and stingy old miser.0 -
Without a card reader you can quote"Make payments to any mandates/payees arranged and previously paid online" If you want a card reader log in and follow transfers, add payee, click order card reader, takes about 15 days so they say.
