Help, Bank Account disappeared !

Dont know whats happened here but hope somebody can help. My monthly wages were paid in today [paid in on the 15th of each month], withdrew some money to pay a bill this morning then went to work. Went to buy something with card at 5.30 and transaction refused after swiping it twice = bad situation !. Went to cash machine and couldn't get any cash or a statement ?! Tried to get info by phone banking and told my balance for the account was nil (even though I have an overdraft) and couldn't give me any previous transactions. Soon as I got home I went online and the Account isn't on the page. I wouldn't have thought the Bank would have terminated the Account as they were making money on overdraft charges. I have missed a few loan payments which is on a seperate account. I was just about to commence a IVA now this has happened ! Hope somebody can help me with this problem as I see a sleepless night looming.

Sounds very strange, are you sure no-one has accessed your account illegally?..who do you bank with?

Ring the bank again
Then
Send them an email
then / or / and
Ring / email their fraud dept.

RBS, it's strange that the account does not show on my banking page and automated voice on phone telling me my balance is nil; wheres the overdraft gone and also a months wages ?

is this bank account included in your iva proposal?????

my barclays account was closed when i entered into the iva, they are one of my creditors, they also stopped my internet banking. (they closed everything i had to do with them).

this no doubt something to do with the iva, you should have opened a new bank account before entering an iva, If the bank think you might be doing an IVA and they are listed as a creditor in the proposal, when i worked in iva's this happened on a few aoccasions we used to contact the bank for the client and get the money back, but saying that it happened mainly when the iva had been accepted, try talikng to the bank first then the iva compnay if no joy, good luck

I wrk for a sister company and know this has happened to lots of customers this week, its called a cashline stop, nothing to do with ur pending iva more to do with a so called hic up in the system
