What engine does it have? If it's the 1.9 CDTi then ring and ask Vauxhall dealers.

Wherever you go, DON'T got to quick fit. Find a proper garage.

Do a Google search for Saab specialists in your area. These guys usually have Saab trained technicians but are not pretty in appearance and subsequently have much cheaper labour rates.

As is said in one of the posts above, gone are the days when Saabs were unique. The new 9-3 is pretty much a Vectra with a different shell. Only the Petrol Turbo engines are Saab derived.

Kwik-Fit WILL NOT use the necessary fully-synthetic oil for the Petrol Turbo engine. Use a specialist, best of both worlds. People that know about the car but don't charge the earth.

Below are some reputable Saab specialists I have used previously:

West Midlands Saab Specialist - www.wmss.co.uk - 0121 270 1295
The Saab Centre, Milton Keynes - 01908 505587
Simply Saab - www.simply-saab.com - 0117 9406121

Hope the info helps.

A quick Google found:

Southwales Saab Specialist
Portmanmoor Road Industrial Estate
Cardiff, CF24

029 20473040‎

Not used them personally but give them a call.

This was 18th at about 11am - hopefully they reply soon.
