I usually brake as i enter the filling station. Saves killing anyone.

Really I brake when I need to, maybe slow down or stop, anyway the pads aren't in the filling station they are all over the car park, do keep up

I was talking about the general principle of these devices being green if in a braking zone. Eg the down sections in a multi story car park, the slip road into a filling station etc.

i.e. their green credentials depends on their location.

Seems however that this thread has become so partisan that the chance of a sensible discussion has been eliminated.

Feel free to roll your eyes further, or add more pedantic commentary on where you do and don't brake.

Don't worry I will. It's a done deal now anyway, the public will just have to lump it as usual. I always leave a suitable gap between me and the vehicle in front anyway. In case I am behind someone like you who brakes for random reasons.

Why can't you get these plates installed on your local roadway to help power your house?
