Hi
I have just received a letter from Aviva re the vote option for a payment.
What does this actually mean, and If i take the payment by voting YES, what are the implications?
also, what are the implications for voting NO?
Advice appreciated

Thank you to everyone for your posts and for the advice given - I have recieved my offer also - I have a frozen pension taken out with a previous employer - I have not contributed to it for years as the company was bought out and a new pension scheme put in place (hence the frozen policy) - I am in the process of sorting out my pension as I currently dont pay into my previous employers pension scheme any more either - i assume that I should take the offer but will I be restricted on transfereing the funds out of this one as I was intending to transfer both my pensions into one0

I also have a 25 year policy due to mature in 5 years and have been offered a measly GBP210.00. Can anyone advise on which formula these payments have been calculated.
What sort of policy do people have to generate the average payout of GBP500 and higher?0 -

There is an explanation in the booklet which was enclosed with your letter. However, like many financial products, it is impossible for an individual to calculate his entitlement:mad:.
I would suggest in most (and certainly in your case) it is a no brainer, accept the payout. If you don't there is almost zero chance that you will recieve any other enhancement during the next 5 years."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
