I have been going through the forums and doing general internet searches and I can't find the answer to something.
Can anyone tell me if VAT be added to the fees we pay an agency for managing our property we are renting?
Appreciate if anyone knows the answer.
Regards
Chris

Yes, it's vatable, assuming the agency is registered for vat.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

...and if they ARE VAT-registered, any quote or invoice they present you with should either state that the amount is subject to VAT, or include the VAT amount, as appropriate.0
