Halifax reward accounts -payee query

Hey all

I have the Halifax reward current account and want to delete some of the payee's I have set up under the Transfer and Bills section (closed CC's and bank account). I have clicked on delete but the companies stay on the list but have the word 'deleted' under the status box. Is there anyway to fully remove these from the list, like I can with my HSBC account?

I tart my CC's so change every 9/12mths, and sometimes make big purchases on storecards opened purely for discounts then paid off in full, so it's going to be really frustrating to have these remain on the list!!

I rang Halifax a while ago re the same query, and the deleted accounts stay on there for a while, and eventually they delete them (I was told after around 12 months).

There is an option at the top of the summary page to hide the deleted accounts, which helps to neaten things a bit, but they still appear when next logging on.

I could understand them staying one or two months in case deleted in error but 12!!! Ah well at least you've taught me that I can temporarily hide them.

It's quite useful when you delete a payment then realise a few weeks later you need it - and you can't accidentally make a payment to the wrong card because you have to reinstate it before you can send money out!

There is an option in the toolbar to hide the deleted payees.
