Cost effective way of getting Breakdown Cover.

Hi,

I need to get some breakdown cover on my car before fornights trip to the Vendee this year. I've not got any other plans to drive in Europe this next 12 months so only need 2 weeks cover.

My question is, would it be cheaper to book up 2 weeks european breakdown cover or better to get UK breakdown for the year and then "upgrade" just for that 2 week period. Has anyone got any views or recommendations.

It would be handy to have breakdown in the UK for the other 50 weeks, but not exactly essential.

Thanks in advance,

WS.
