My mum wants a Tomtom Sat Nav for her car and looked around various shops for the cheapest Tomtom ONE model.
However my relatives are coming over in a few weeks from Canada and have been wondering if its worth the hassle and money to ask them to get one from Canada (as its around £80-£90 when converted) and then load the UK maps onto it and also will it work on cars over here?

If you buy the map for UK its £40 Europe is £70 (form Tom Tom) it quickly wipes out any saving. Plus you may have warranty issues.
Plus they probably should pay import tax on although in practice this seems unlikely.0 -
The TomTom One is a pretty good choice for a basic simple to use sat nav, it was around £87 on https://www.play.com recently. Try https://www.froogle.com to find the best prices.0
