On buyagift the other day they had a jar crammed with sweets, after showing the kids to get their opinions agreed that Dad could have it, however not from the site. Online it was £25, so i went along to local sweet shop purchased one of the old jars for 30p then went to Asda and purchased a shed load of sweets i dont think the whole lot cost a fiver.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

For anyone with toddlers I got a really lovely book from Morrisons called "Clever Daddy" which is really sweet - there was a few other titles too and they were only £2.99 or 2 for £5. My dh loves reading to my little boy so I hope this will go down well!0

The only thing there that I would have use for was the box of overpriced lagers but then again they're currently selling 10 bottles of Stella for a fiver which is a far better deal.
Sorry about following up my own post but I need to expose Asda. In their Father's Day aisle there is a pack of 'Lagers of the World' for five quid. This comprises bottles of Carling, Carlsberg, Fosters and Grolsh. All run of the mill lagers in average sized bottles, 330ml I think. In the beer aisle they have packs of ten bottles of Stella Artois, also for a fiver. Do not fall for this a buy the 'Lagers of the World' when you can better quality beer, and more than twice as much, for the same price .The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

Also don't get caught out on the other Stella "deal". 18 x 284ml bottles for £10.Sorry about following up my own post but I need to expose Asda. Much worse than the 10 x 330ml deal you mention, daft.
Last year my DD bought me a book called "why I love my Daddy" she can now read it to me and it brings a lump to my throat when she does. One of the best presents ever.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
