....I bet you have, I just need reassurance that I'm not the only one who does this (frequently!..lol)
I am always buying things then seeing them cheaper somewhere else, so I take them back and re-purchase them to save the differance. That or I'm so indecisive about my choice.
Last year I looked everywhere for silver luggage for my hols, I searched the internet, checked out all the high street and eventually found some wonderful luggage at Wilkinson's, I bought them but a few days later I spotted some in Matalan, well I bought these too even though they weren't any cheaper as I thought I preferred the style, then Argos had a set with £10 off so...I bought them too.
So there I am with three sets of trying to decide which ones I like best, I chose the first set (of course!!) and took the others back.
For one of my daughters pressies last christmas I got her a ballerina outfit from Adams, paid full price £14.99 for it, was reduced to £10.99 the next week so I bought it again and took the other back, next week its £7.49 so I do the same again!! :rotfl:
Don't you just hate it when that happens?? Please tell me its not just me that does this!
I have since been told that if you buy something and its later reduced then most shops will give you the differance if you just show them a recent reciept, has anyone done this?
Sarah

I don't know if shops always accept to refund difference but I have never thought of returning the items should the price drop and the item has not been used.
Somehow since being on this site I just keep all receipts for tracking. I wonder why?MFW on your mark0 -
If I spot something that I have bought reduced I buy it again and then take it back later with my original receipt. This way it doesn't matter if I've opened it and used it and I don't have to make another trip to the shop.

Life's far too short. If you find something you like and you are happy that it's a decent price then take the advice of Bobby McFerrin "Don't Worry, Be Happy." Once you've bought it why continue to look? You are never going to get the best bargain on everything and even trying to do so will take up a huge amount of your time and energy which are valuable resources worth treasuring ( and upon which you could place a monetary value) in themselves!!!Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0

But some shops will only refund the price they are selling at at that moment not what you paidtravelover0

GAP have a policy that if you buy a sale item and it's then reduced further if you take in your receipt they will refund you the difference straight away - worth keeping an eye out if you buy early in their sales0

I did this Christmas 2004. Bought my DD a Christian Dior box set for over £40, spotted it in another store for £25ish in January sale.
Had old receipt in bag, so bought it and went straight to other store to claim refund.
I know, on dodgy ground here, but (in my defence) had lost my job 4 months earlier and was living virtually hand-to-mouth.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

They cannot do that if you have the originaL recepit showing the higher price. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
I wish I could do this with flights I have payed for only a week ago, for my hols in august, to find they are £100 cheaper a week later after booking!! Not a happy bunny, and I wont get my money back if I cancel. I hunted for the cheapest flights, found them with Ryanair, when I came to book they had increased £100, and a week later back down £100, Im blazing, that couldave been couple days spends in spain BooHoo!!if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T
