The Celeron M and the Pentium M share the same architecture. However, the Celeron M supports neither Intel's SpeedStep nor the Deeper Sleep State. Thus, it actually consumes considerably more energy when idle. As a result, while the processor and the notebook may be cheaper than a model equipped with a Pentium M, the battery time will definitely be shorter.

IMO battery life is key in laptop...also styling/screen (excellent)/speakers are better than dells too.

Dell was a bargain but this is a decent step up.

You can use vouchers. I contacted them once by email and they responded with details of how it can be done.

Give Comet a call.
You would need to call them anyway to get your staff discount on web purchases! At the same time, ask if you could pay in vouchers.

I'm very tempted with this deal. I've been after a lappy for a while and the review on notebookreview.com of the same model (with a mobile graphics card) makes the deal look even better.

That's a fantastic price! Acer themselves are selling this little beauty for just under £700 - see this here . For £200 less, this is a bargain!
