Redundancy and interest only mortgage

Hi. Hope someone can help with this. I am currently on a fixed rate mortgage which is due to expire in September. I have been made redundant and would like to change it for an interest only mortgage when the fixed rate expires. Is my current lender obliged to do this? Or do I have to carry on paying for a full mortgage?
Thanks
Thanks

they are not obliged to but may well see it makes sense rather than force you into reposession/ default

Thanks for that.
I have looked on their website and can't find interest only mortgages on there. Do you know if it is possible to get a mortgage if on income support? I am not there yet and will hopefully find work - but hypertheticaly it could happen:huh:0
