Any reason I shouldn't close the account I'm reclaiming for?

Hi all, No doubt this has been asked before but would appreicate feedback.
I've got three current accounts, and I'd like to close two of them, I'm reclaiming charges on both. Is there any reason I shouldn't close them.
Anybody had experience of it hindering ther case at all? I notice some people are atempting to reclaim for accounts they closed a while ago.
Thanks FCC
