British Gas Pricing

Have discovered British Gas's new Duo Fuel websaver 3, which they state are their cheapest duo fuel prices, is incorrect. I was on websaver 2 and having changed to websaver 3 discovered I am paying more for my gas and a little less for my electricity. The overall effect is an increase per annum which shows British Gas is up to its devious ways as usual!

They no longer offer WebSaver 2. WebSaver 3 is their cheapest available tariff. In most areas of the country it is slightly cheaper for electricity and slightly more expensive for gas. For a customer who uses the national average of 3300kWh electricity and 20500kWh gas, the combined cost of gas and electricity is usually exactly the same. The cheapest option would have been for you to change your electricity only onto the WebSaver 3 tariff.Sunny in Southampton.0
